jobSHOVE - FAQ's

Q. When a file is being uploaded can I leave the site (web page) or do I have to keep the page open until uploading is complete?
A. Leave your web browser window open until uploading is complete. A message will tell you when this is finished.
You can always open another tab in your web browser whilst your file is uploading and view another web site in the meantime.

Q. Does jobSHOVE work with many different operating systems?
A. jobSHOVE works with a variety of operating systems as it is internet based and does not rely on any plug-ins to function. If you come across any compatability issues, we would love to hear from you.

Q. Do I need to put file extensions on my MAC files?
A. Yes, jobSHOVE is windows based and is therefore required to have file extensions for any files uploaded.

Q. Sometimes, files take longer to upload - can anything be done about this?
A. It is normal for fluctuations in upload speed due to server loads. During very busy periods you will find upload speeds slow down and take longer than usual.

Q. How do I upload a folder containing multiple files?
A. The best way to get around this issue is to create an archive of the folder. This can be done by right-clicking the folder and selecting the archive/zip option. You will then be able to upload the zip file with no problems.

Q. What is the maximum file size I can upload?
A. If you are a standard user, then you can upload upto 50mb. If you are a member of our client lounge, we enable you to upload upto 500mb.

Q. Can I access my files after I have uploaded them?
A. You can access any uploaded files for 7 days after uploading if you are a member of our client lounge.
