our print services

lithographic printing The most common commercial printing technology in use today. 'Litho' or 'Offset' printing applies layers of ink on the page. For each layer, a reverse image of the page is placed on a roller in the printing press. Ink is applied to the non-image areas on the roller, so that as the roller presses against paper moving through the press, the proper image is left on the paper.

digital colour printing Printing technology that can produce printed sheets directly from a computer file, without going through an intermediate medium such as a film negative or an intermediate machine such as a plate-making machine.

digital mono printing A type of single colour printing which uses digital imaging process to transfer the mono (black) image directly onto plain paper immediately, without traditional offset rollers and plates.

pre-press / ctp The steps required to turn a design into a file ready for final printing on a printing press. CTP is the process in which the final proofed image from a digital file is transferred directly to a printing plate instead of creating film and making the plate from the film.
